As part of the NB-Well project, a one-day workshop on regenerative naturebased tourism was carried out in collaboration with Business Faxe. The workshop focused on strengthening the capabilities of local SMEs and tourism actors to work with sustainable and regenerative business development.
The activity was facilitated through Roskilde Handelsskole, the Danish partner in the project, facilitated by Carina Ren, Researcher and Teacher from Aalborg University.
The programme combined an introduction to regenerative tourism with hands-on development work. Participants explored how tourism can create value not only for businesses and guests, but also for nature and local communities. In the second part, SMEs worked on developing concrete ideas for regenerative experiences and value propositions rooted in the local context.
In addition, Brian Viuf Christensen presented the NB-Well project, highlighting opportunities for further collaboration on nature-based tourism and route development in the region.
The workshop contributed to building practical understanding and provided SMEs with concrete ideas and next steps for integrating sustainability and regeneration into their business development.
